Summer Diffuser Recipes (2016)

I’ve been trying out some diffuser recipes (shocking I know), and I thought I’d share them with you.

As is the case with just about all of my diffuser blends, these are very simple. I typically use only 2-4 oils, and just a couple of drops of each one.

Of course, you can get all fancy and add your own oils or add a bunch more drops. That’s totally up to you.

Summer is definitely one of my favorite times to experiment with diffuser recipes. And that’s not just because I live in Florida, where summer lasts 11.86 months.

It’s also because citrus oils are very common in summer blends. I love the citrus oils, and I think they make a great addition to any scent.

Summer Diffuser Recipes – Part 4

Summer diffuser series

Well, it’s the last Wednesday in June, and this is the last summer diffuser recipe.

It’s mind-boggling to conceive that the first half of 2015 is over. Before you know it, the stores will start stocking Christmas items on the shelves.

Oooohhh, sorry. I know that was uncalled for.

But in all seriousness, I found myself humming a Christmas tune yesterday.

I think the TV commercials must be sending subliminal messages or something.

But anyway….

This week’s recipe is definitely my favorite of them all. I tried diffusing the blend, not really sure how it would turn out.

And I loved it!

Here it is:

3 drops Tangerine

3 drops Lime

2 drops Geranium

At first I wasn’t sure about the Geranium. Because I’m not big on the floral scents.

But it really worked well for this blend. It had a strong aroma, but not overpowering. Very soothing actually.

So let me know if you love it. Or hate it.

Either way. I love the feedback.
