Aroma Ease essential oil

Untitled design (5)

Young Living’s Aroma Ease is a blended oil. It contains peppermint, spearmint, ginger, cardamom, and fennel essential oils.

Aroma Ease can be diffused to create a relaxing atmosphere. It can also be applied topically to provide calm and comfort. Young Living suggests application to the neck and chest for the greatest benefit.

I like to apply Aroma Ease right before I go to sleep. It helps me wind down and relax from the busy day.

And, just like Orange essential oil that we spoke about last week, Aroma Ease is a flex oil in the Premium Starter Kit.

7 Essential Oils to Help You Beat Occasional Stress

Cat-Hiding-Under-Newspaper

Stress.
My muscles tense just typing that word.
Oh, and here’s a pet peeve of mine – don’t you hate it when you go to the doctor and they ask “do you have stress?”
Really??
Are we living on the same planet?
Because I don’t think I know of anyone who does not have stress. Even babies. (those dirty diapers can cause a bit of tension)

So why do they ask? Any doctors out there care to clear this up? Because, Doc, if you really want to know about my stress, you should probably have a PhD as well. If you get what I’m saying.
Anyway.

It’s a given that we all experience occasional stress.
So I think it’s great that Young Living offers several oils that can alleviate that stress.
I made a list of the 7 oils that I use the most when I am stressed out.

1- Stress Away
Duh. The name says it all.
Stress Away is a blend of Copaiba, Lime, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Ocotea, and Lavender.
I didn’t like the smell of the Stress Away oil at first, but it’s growing on me. I use this oil mostly at night before I head to bed.

2- Peace and Calming
This oil has a more gentle scent, and it contains a blend of Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Blue Tansy, Orange, and Patchouli oils.
This is a great one to use to promote restful sleep. And if you put a couple drops in your freshly washed hair, it makes your hair soft and smooth!

3- Joy
How you can you not like an oil called Joy? I mean, really.
Joy is a blend of Bergamot, Lemon, Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang, Rose, Geranium, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Coriander, and Tangerine.
According to Young Living’s description of Joy, it “brings happiness to the heart”. Awww.

4- Aroma Ease
This is a new oil from Young Living. It promotes calm, and I think it smells yummy.
It contains a blend of Peppermint, Spearmint, Ginger, Cardamom, and Fennel.

5- Lavender
I’ve said it before, but this is probably my favorite oil. I love the smell of lavender, and it really does bring you a sense of peace.
Lavender is a very versatile oil. It’s one of those oils that you carry with you everywhere, because you can use it for just about anything.

6- Ylang Ylang
I’ve made fun of this oil name before.
I know, probably not very nice, but, come on, it just begs to be poked fun at.
This is another oil that I did not care to smell at first. But what’s weird is now I think it smells great.
This oil seems to bring me peace pretty quickly.
And you may remember from a previous post that it can be used to, ahem, encourage romantic feelings.

7- Grapefruit
This one has a sweet smell, and in addition to its calming properties, it can be used to support proper digestion and proper immune function.

Yes, these are the oils that help to give me peace and relaxation.
Want to try one? Or all of them?
You can check them out on the Order Oils page.
There you can see descriptions from Young Living in the product catalog, or you can place an order on the order link.

If you’re an oil newbie, check out the Premium Starter Kit
Three of the oils above are included in the kit, along with 8 others AND a diffuser! Plus you get cool perks when you purchase the kit, such as a 24% discount on all future orders!

Hope your day is as stress-free as possible! Hang in there!

Stress Away Essential Oil

www.keepingitrealoily.com(4)

Stress Away. Love the name. Don’t you? I mean, picture yourself just pushing stress away from your body. Lovely thought. Well, Young Living’s Stress Away essential oil can’t keep all the stress from your life….but it can help give you a little peace, and maybe even a more relaxed perspective.

Just like the past few oils that we have discussed, Stress Away is a blended oil. It is made up of several different oils. Let’s take a look at those oils.

Copaiba

Copaiba, pronounced, “co-pie-buh”, is a very popular oil because it is very effective at supporting healthy digestion.

Lime

Yes, there really is a lime essential oil. And you can use lime essential oil to flavor your food, much like you would with an actual piece of lime.

Cedarwood

Cedarwood essential oil is great for promoting relaxation. It is often used in massage because of its soothing quality.

 Vanilla

I’m not making it up. There actually is a vanilla oil. Sounds yummy. The kind of vanilla oil that Young Living uses comes from Mexico (the place of more yummy things! – says the girl with a salsa addiction). It used mainly for…well, flavoring. I think it has a great smell too.

 Ocotea

Ocotea essential oil has natural cleansing properties. And it is used in some of Young Living’s natural appetite suppressant products, because it can give you the feeling of fullness.

 Lavender

You may remember the post I did on Lavender essential oil. You’ll probably remember that I gushed about it because it’s my very favorite essential oil. Why? Because it’s pretty much great for, you know, EVERYTHING. Seriously, it’s awesome. It’s used for occasional nervous tension, calming, rest, etc etc.  You get the picture.

So those are the oils that make up Stress Away. I bet now you can probably tell that Stress Away is pretty special. Look at all of those cool oils that are in it!! Stress Away is extremely popular among oily people (as in those who use essential oils, NOT people who look oily. Eww.) So what are some of the uses for Stress Away?

Well, it can help reduce everyday stress. Duh. Pretty obvious. But so important. Are there any of you out there who don’t have stress in your life?  *crickets*

Yeah, exactly. Stress Away can promote a sense of calm and peacefulness in you. It can be applied to your wrists or the back of your neck when you want to relax.

Because of its soothing and calming properties, Stress Away promotes proper sleep and rest. Others have claimed it works well for occasional mood changes associated with the menstrual cycle. Once again, I claim ignorance, as I am a shiny happy person at all times, and have no clue as to what that is.

Ok, the truth is….Stress Away….I want to just bathe in it. Because some days…oh you know those days. Sigh.

So anyway, on those days, Stress Away is a comfort to have around. I like to give stress a double whammy. Stress Away and prayer. After all, Jesus is the best stress reliever there is. He’s free, He doesn’t run out, and He’s very effective.

And because Young Living knows how much people love Stress Away, they throw it right in that Premium Starter Kit. Just to make it that more enticing. And awesome.

If you have any questions about Stress Away, or any of the other oils or Young Living products, please just ask!
