Young Living’s Purification essential oil is made up of six different oils: citronella, rosemary, lemongrass, tea tree, lavandin, and myrtle.
Purification can be used to freshen the air and eliminate odors.
That’s why this is one of my favorite oils to diffuse. It just smells sooo good. It has a clean and pleasant scent.
I like to diffuse Purification when we have guests over to the house. It adds a nice aroma to the air without overpowering the room.
You can also add a few drops of Purification to cotton balls and place them in the a/c vents of your house or car.
Purification can also be used in relaxation applications.
You can add a few drops to a massage oil (Young Living has a great one called V-6), and rub it on your feet for a soothing effect.
Or, you can add some drops to Epsom salts for a relaxing bath. (4 drops oil to 1 cup Epsom salt)
Finally, Purification can be applied topically to “enjoy the outdoors annoyance-free” (exact phrase in quotes taken from Young Living’s product claims). This is where the citronella part of the oil can benefit the most.
And yes, because I know you’re probably wondering – Purification is part of the Premium Starter Kit!
