Spring Diffuser Recipes – Part 2
For this week’s spring diffuser recipe, I used Young Living’s Joy , lavender, and orange essential oils.
Here’s the recipe (which I named Bloom):
3 drops Joy
1 drop Orange
This combo gave the room a sweet, mild fragrance.
Now, remember – you can adjust the recipe to your liking. For example, if you prefer a strong floral scent, you can add more drops of the Joy oil. Or you can leave out the orange oil altogether.
I added the orange to sweeten the scent up a little, because I do not care for overpowering floral scents. (actually, when I diffused this recipe the first time, I accidentally dropped in two drops of the orange oil. So the citrus smell was more noticeable than I intended.)
And feel free to “up” the number of drops if you want a more powerful fragrance. I tend to be conservative on the number of drops I use. But that’s just me.
If you have a Premium Starter Kit, or if you are planning on getting one, you will already have Joy and Lavender on hand. Orange oil is not included in the kit, but Lemon is, as is Citrus Fresh. Either of those can be used in place of the orange oil. Of course, if you really prefer Orange, that can be purchased separately. It’s a very affordable oil, at just $10.75 wholesale ($14.14 retail).
