Peppermint Essential Oil
Today I would like to spotlight peppermint essential oil.
My family uses this most for maintaining proper digestion. Simply apply a few drops to the stomach and abdomen area in a clockwise direction.
You can also use peppermint oil to support your physical performance during exercise. Add a drop of oil to your glass of water before your workout.
Now, it is important to note that peppermint is considered a “hot” oil, meaning that children and those with sensitive skin may feel a slight burning sensation when applying the oil to the skin. In those cases, it is highly recommended to dilute the oil with an organic vegetable oil or coconut oil before applying to the skin. Of course, if you do not want to apply peppermint oil to your skin, you can diffuse the oil in a diffuser. That way you can achieve the same effect by simply breathing it in.
