DiGize Essential Oil

Young Living’s DiGize essential oil is nothing short of wonderful. This is definitely an oil you need to have.

If you follow my Facebook oil page, you will remember that this oil is one of six Young Living essential oils that travel everywhere with me. (also included are Lavender, Peppermint, Thieves, RC, and Aroma Siez.)

DiGize oil promotes healthy digestion and can soothe stomach discomforts.

DiGize is what I use to alleviate bloating and pressure, and to relieve occasional heartburn and nausea.

It is a blended oil that is made up of tarragon, ginger, peppermint, lemongrass, patchouli, juniper, fennel, and anise oils. Di-Gize can be used topically (apply to stomach area in a clockwise motion), or aromatically (diffuse into the air). And you can even benefit from it by simply inhaling it.

(Also, Young Living’s new DiGize Vitality (item #5621) can be taken internally in a gel capsule.)

I mostly apply it topically from the middle of my chest and around my stomach area. I swipe the oil in a clockwise motion (from my point of view – looking down at my stomach. Natural digestion follows this direction, so it helps the oil to be delivered faster) It works FAST and it’s REALLY effective.

I can’t tell you how secure I feel in knowing that I will get immediate relief from Di-Gize, especially when I’m not home. Who wants to have stomach discomfort when they are out and about?

When should I take the Digize capsule-prior to eating, after, etc.?

    • Lisa

      Hi Nenna,
Young Living has recently reclassified DiGize for aromatic and topical application. However, DiGize Vitality (it’s brand new!) can be ingested in a capsule.
I think it’s a matter of personal preference as far as when you should take it. I personally prefer to use it after a meal. You may want to try it both ways to see which option suits you better.
For reference, DiGize Vitality is item #5621 if you’d like to find it on the site. You can view the catalog or purchase oils under the “Order Oils” tab.
      Thanks for your comment Nenna!

Hi! I am wondering about using DiGize for heartburn, it works for my husband to apply it topically but he doesn’t enjoy having to rub it on his chest/stomach every day. Can he take it in a pill form? If so how many drops should go in a capsule? Should I mix it with anything else in the capsule? Thank you!

      Hi Taryn,
According to the recent FDA guidelines, as an independent distributor of Young Living essential oils I am prohibited from making any suggestions or claims of healing or prevention of diseases or ailments (as pertains to the oils). DiGize may be applied topically or diffused to maintain proper digestion or soothe occasional discomforts.
Due to the new FDA classifications, those are the only suggested uses for DiGize.
However, here’s the good news. Young Living’s new product, DiGize Vitality, is designated for internal use. It can be added to a drink or taken in a gel capsule. As I’m sure you already know, just one drop of Young Living essential oil goes a long way. So I would suggest 1-2 drops. You don’t need to add to it, but you can add a couple of drops of carrier oil (such as coconut oil) to dilute if you prefer.
DiGize Vitality can be found in the product guide (under the Order Oils tab), or quick order under #5621.
      Thanks for your comment Taryn!
